ABOUT THE HOTEL: The historic Thayer Hotel was built in 1926 on the grounds of the US Military Academy at West Point New York, to accommodate Academy personnel and guests. Today, it is an impressive luxury hotel with modern facilities and old world charm. The sprawling three winged granite structure resembles a medieval fortress built in Gothic style. The hotel overlooks a steep rocky cliff and offers breathtaking views of the majestic Hudson River.
The Thayer Hotel has hosted many dignitaries including General Douglas MacArthur, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, President John F. Kennedy, singer Luciano Pavarotti, actors George C. Scott and Gregory Peck, the cast of "The Sopranos" and the New York Region Management Society. The hotel has 151 beautiful guestrooms and great meeting rooms.RATE: Our group rate is $140 per night single, and $160 double.
