FLEMINGER AWARD RECIPIENTS
The Fleminger Award is named in
honor of the late Robert Fleminger, former Manager of the Grand Rapids
DO and Past-President of both the Regional and National Management
Associations. This award is the highest award CSSMA presents. It is
intended to honor someone who has made a significant contribution to
CSSMA and CSSMA concerns.

The Community Service Award is to
recognize a member who has made a significant contribution in one or
more of the following areas:
- Active involvement in community affairs, civic clubs, volunteer
services, or charitable activities.
- Acts of heroism.
- Concerted efforts either inside or outside the office aimed
directly at improving or protecting the image of the Federal
employee.
- Special contributions in the performance of regular job duties
which significantly enhance an office’s delivery of services.
- Any other activity which promotes or enhances the image of Social
Security employees.
