Awards given by the PRMA
CONSIDERATION FOR A CLYDE A. ARCHILETI AWARD
The Clyde A. Archileti Award would be an
annual award by the Philadelphia Region Management
Association, given in memory of Clyde A.
Archileti, past president of the PRMA and
the National Association.
The award will be given each year at the
Annual Meeting of the PRMA to the member who,
during the proceeding year, has done the
most to further the objective of the Philadelphia
Regional Association.
ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible an individual must be a member
in good standing of the PRMA.
CRITERIA: The award will be made for a single act
or a sustained performance over a period
of time. The act or performance must have
had a substantial effect in furthering one
or more of the objectives of the Philadelphia
Regional Council which are included in Article
II of the PRMA by-laws.
NOMINATION PROCEDURES: Nominations can be accepted from: 1. any
network association that is a member of the
PRMA; 2. Regional officers, acting as a body,
may submit nomination; 3. any group of 8
members, acting as a body, may submit nominations.
Nominations should be in the form of a letter
to the vice president of the PRMA. The letter
should state at the outset: 1. that it is
a nomination for the Clyde A. Archileti Award;
2. the name and affiliation of the nominee;
and 3. the objective(s) that are involved.
The balance of the letter should state in
narrative format how the activity of the
nominee advanced the objective(s). The letter
should not exceed two typewritten pages and
should be signed. It should also indicate
the eligibility of the person(s) making the
nomination to do so.
The deadline for nominations is not later
than 60 days before the date of the annual
meeting.
SELECTION PROCEDURES: The PRMA president will appoint a selection
committee of 3 or 5 persons.
The committee will choose a chairperson (within
the committee), and review the nominations
based solely upon their merit.
